Attorney Cassandra Borjon is dedicated to zealously advocating for clients in deportation or removal proceedings. Ms. Borjon's litigation experience has allowed her to obtain successful results in both the immigration and criminal realm. She has practiced before the Executive Office of Immigration Review, the Board of Immigration Appeals, various Superior Courts throughout California, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
As a daughter of immigrants, Ms. Borjon developed a strong desire to serve as a voice for those who are often silenced or unheard. At a young age, Ms. Borjon decided she wanted to be an advocate for these individuals. In 2010, Ms. Borjon graduated with honors and obtained her Bachelor's Degree from San Jose State University where she majored in Justice Studies. She continued her higher education at California Western School of Law where she served as both an Associate Editor and Associate Writer for the California Western International Law Journal. While in law school, Ms. Borjon obtained invaluable litigation experience interning for San Diego County's Public Defender's Office where she second-chaired trials, drafted and litigated various motions, litigated at evidentiary hearings, negotiated cases, and more. Ms. Borjon was admitted into the State Bar of California in 2015. Thereafter, she spent the following 3 years practicing different areas of law including criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, and immigration removal defense.
In 2018, Ms. Borjon decided to focus and direct her passion of defending those in immigration proceedings, and founded the Law Office of Cassandra Borjon.
Ms. Borjon's legal writing and litigation skills, coupled with her dedication to advocacy, have allowed her to carry out her passion of zealously advocating for those in immigration proceedings.
